Enotes Music is proud to announce the release of two major works: Symphony for Orchestra and Two Pianos and Night in the Gallery. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios and featuring the London Symphony Orchestra and soloists Michael McHale and Tom Poster under the direction of Eidelman. Symphony for Orchestra and Two Pianos is a grand artistic statement worthy of its name.

The new work Night in the Gallery stands in contrast to the big symphonic canvas.  The new piece is a four movement work for chamber orchestra, played here by Members of the London Symphony Orchestra joined by the piano of Michael McHale.  While the Symphony lays claim to being part of the symphonic tradition of the great composers, Night in the Gallery is a more intimate, playful, and colorful piece.  Inspired not by the actual Louvre or a visit to the great museum, rather Eidelman took inspiration from a photo book about artwork in the Louvre, and that book, “Treasures of the Louvre,” was a point of departure for Eidelman’s imagination.  It was soon followed by other great works from galleries around the world where the characters from these paintings came to life in this music.
