I was honored to be commissioned by the Library of Congress to compose a piano piece for virtuoso Jenny Lin as part of the "Boccaccio Project" to provide some artistic responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ten composers were commissioned to write brief solo works, with the remotely recorded pieces to be premiered online in June 2020. Jenny recorded my piece "Bridges" in her NYC apartment on her upright piano during confinement. I hope you have a chance to tune in. Click on image to learn more about the project.
